Best Life Ventures ("BLV," "we," "us") builds a connected set of products: Memo, Capacity, Playbook'd, and the BLV app, all tied together by one account — your BLV ID. This single policy covers all of them. It explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it.
Your BLV ID. When you sign in with Google, Apple, or an emailed code, we collect your email address, and your name and profile photo if you choose to provide them (or if your Google/Apple account shares them). One BLV ID signs you in across every BLV app.
Information within each app. Depending on which apps you use, we store the things you create and do there:
Location is used by Memo only, and only to power features like discovering people or places near you. It is requested through your device's permission prompt, is off unless you allow it, and can be turned off any time in your device settings. Capacity and Playbook'd do not collect location.
With your permission, we send push notifications about your activity — invitations, reminders, results, and updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
We use your information to run the apps, sign you in across the BLV ecosystem, deliver the features you use, and send notifications you've opted into. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs in our apps.
We share information only with the service providers needed to operate BLV:
These providers process data only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not share your data with advertisers.
Purchases of digital items happen on the web, outside the apps, and are processed by Stripe — the apps themselves do not charge you or process payments. Stripe handles your payment details under its own privacy policy; we do not store full payment card information. Some in-app actions that carry no charge (for example, RSVPing to a free event) may be handled inside the app in the future; those never involve payment.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the apps. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app, or by emailing collaborate@bestlifeventures.com. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data except where we're required to retain limited records by law.
Memo is intended for users 18 and older. Capacity and Playbook'd are intended for users 13 and older. Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
You can access, correct, or delete your information at any time — in-app, or by emailing collaborate@bestlifeventures.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data; we honor valid requests under applicable law.
We may update this policy as our apps evolve. When we do, we'll revise the effective date above and post the new version at this address. Significant changes will be communicated in-app where appropriate.
